Description
This FREE Salute to Service~Warriors at Ease class for our active duty military, veterans and first responders will be offered monthly on the first Sunday of the month.
Sometimes the toughest battles are the ones no one else can see. Salute to Service was created to provide veterans and first responders with practical tools & training to manage stress, increase resilience and promote post-traumatic growth. These evidence based practices and trauma informed protocols are highly effective in managing pain and improving systems of depression, anxiety and insomnia. Expect gentle mindful movements with emphasis on relief of chronic tension of upper body, low back and hips, tactical breathing to assist with nervous system regulation and iRest meditation.
**Classes are beginner-friendly and made to be safe & accessible especially to those who are “inflexible”, those who have a traumatic brain-injury, or prosthesis/limited mobility.
*Exclusive to veterans, service members, first responders and their families/caretakers so you are being supported in a community of your own.
* Instructors are also military veterans and/or first responders who understand the unique scope of need of the military and first responder community.
