Description
Allow us to support you through a journey of self reflection & deep rest. Join us in the studio sanctuary for a full-day retreat, a peaceful gathering to harness the quiet power of winter for personal growth and renewal. The Winter Solstice, marking the longest night of the year, is a profound moment for reflection, setting intentions, and embracing transformation. Together, we’ll honor the shift from darkness of winter towards lighter days, aligning with nature’s rhythm and cultivating inner peace. This retreat offers a sanctuary to rest, reconnect, and find deep balance as we prepare to welcome light back into our lives.
This very special day includes:
Morning Session:
A meditative respite in the tranquil salt room at Mountain Medical Spa. This unique, restorative space is offered with the intention to soothe and assist with releasing tension as we easy into the day.
A special individual Oracle Card Reading with Jill Kwitkwiski, for a playful insight to illuminate your path into the winter season.
A workshop to get creative with Elaine Gabriel at Sol Studio Arts where you’ll make your own Winter Solace lantern. This traditional symbol of hope in the dark will bring a touch of sparkle and magic into the winter nights ahead.
Midday Pause: Gather together for a light and nourishing lunch with soulful conversation before the afternoon unfolds.
Afternoon Session:
An invitation to embrace the healing power of the pause, turn inward and retreat with a restorative yoga practice. It’s a quiet time for deep rest and gentle introspection with lots of cozy props.
A somatic mindfulness practice will guide you in letting go of what no longer serves you.
A gentle and contemplative yin yoga practice that will aid you in discharging physical and emotional tensions and create space to honor the darkness we’ve experienced; so that we may turn toward the light with new perspectives.
Ceremonial cacao and guided contemplation to reconnect with your heart, and set your intentions building a path that lights the way through the darkness of winter and guides us towards our brightest future.
A healing sound bath with the gorgeous soundscape of the wild Ammonoosuc river outside the studio. Find a profound stillness as the enchanting sounds of crystal singing bowls, and the chimes soothing vibrations release any remaining tension or resistance, rekindling the light of your inner wisdom.
We’ll close the day with a reflective sharing circle and an optional releasing ritual, lighting the way toward a joyful, renewed spirit.
**Hot tea & treat cart will be available throughout retreat day. Luncheon menu will include seasonal soup and salad, savory puff pasty tart, and mixed cheese board with local artisan bread.
