Duration:
41 Minutes
This yoga nidra class is designed to help with stress relief.
As you lie comfortably in savasana, I will lead you through a series of guided visualisations and body scans, helping you to relax, release tension, and connect with kindness to yourself.
We will begin by setting an intention for the practice. This could be anything from letting go of what no longer serves you to welcoming in new ways to be kind to yourself and/or others. Once we have set our intention, we will begin to relax and deepen our breath.
As we continue to relax and deepen our breath, I will lead you through a body scan. This involves bringing your awareness to each part of your body, from your toes to your head, and noticing any sensations that are present. The body scan is a powerful way to release tension and connect with your body in a deep and meaningful way, and helps to prepare the body for sleep.
At the end of the practice, you can have the choice to remain in your yoga nidra practice, pr listen to my voice to carefully guide you out of the practice.
If you wish to wake from the practice, you may also do so in your own time. You may want to take some time to journal about your experience, or simply rest quietly and reflect on the insights you have gained.
I hope you will join me for this brand new Nidra that I have been working on for a while now. It is a wonderful way to find time to slow down in life and to nourish your body, mind, and spirit.
