About Jessica Rabone Yoga
Hello, I’m Jess.
Originally from the English countryside, I’m now living in Geneva with my partner, two cats and lots of house plants.
I've been a yoga teacher for many years and have been lucky enough to teach around the world in various studios and retreat centres.
Before moving to Geneva I had my own studio in Fribourg, but now I mainly focus on retreats and trainings. However, between November and March I'll be teaching weekly classes at Herstreet in Eaux Vives.
It gives me great joy being able to share the practice beyond the poses, and to make yoga an accessible and inclusive form of movement and philosophy.
I have a very varied yoga background and have studied with some amazing teachers, learning lots about the philosophy, spiritual and energetic roots of yoga, as well as anatomy, movement science, and fascinating mindbody facts from my ongoing studies into yoga through the lens of neuroscience and psychology.
I know that sounds a little geeky, but I promise I only share things that you can actually use and apply to your practice both on and off the mat.
My aim is to help you understand and experience the less tangible mental and emotional sides of yoga while forming a more compassionate connection to your body.
For me, yoga is a very holistic practice and so I strongly believe these aspects are of equal importance to the physical movements.
