Somatic Yoga helps put you back in touch with your body from the inside out. We start to pay attention to our patterns and address them using gentle movements, so we can regain control and start to access the areas that are holding tension. Movements become easier and more fluid, help to improve your mobility.

The last 10-15mins of the practice, we settle into a super delux Savasana, or we dive into a power of body scan or, guided meditation.

This 60-mins class offers a calming practice to help you transition smoothly from the day into a peaceful evening.

We will begin with mindful breathing exercises to center the mind and create inner stillness. Moving through slow, somatic sequences, you’ll experience gentle, intelligent movements that focus on your inner experience, expanding internal awareness as you move. As we progress, you’ll be guided into a series of strengthening Hatha poses to build stability and support in the body, with an emphasis on mindful alignment and softness.

Throughout, we’ll incorporate breathwork to release tension and soothe the nervous system, inviting a deep sense of calm. The class will end with restorative postures that allow your body to fully unwind and release any remaining stress. Supported by wonderful cosy props, you’ll enter a state of deep relaxation, helping you feel nurtured and at ease.

We begin with gentle, slow movements that encourage you to reconnect with your body, enhancing self-awareness and internal healing. Somatics focus on sensing through movement, while Restorative yoga shifts to sensing through stillness, with each pose held for extended periods using cozy blankets, cushions, and bolsters. The session emphasizes deep breathing techniques integrated with movements and poses to calm the mind and soothe the body. This combination is crucial for achieving a deeply relaxed state where healing and restoration naturally occur.

As you move and rest in guided sequences, Magda will guide you through the sound of calming instruments of crystal bowls, chimes, rattles and many more healing instruments to explore your inner peace and deepen your relationship with yourself. Tapping into the body as a resource for resilience and emotional balance.

Slowing down is another way of waking up," this class aims to slow you down, wake you up, and bring you home to your own body. We will be circling in 360 degrees around the mat. The sequence may have a single focus, such as opening the hips or, multiple areas of focus; starting and ending a practice with Yin pose.

Suitable more for those who have some previous experience in yoga. Not necessarily in Mandala style but more so as your regular yoga practice.
