Happy Hips Yoga: This class style incorporates gentle stretches with an emphasis on releasing tension and tightness in the hips. As with our other class styles, each class starts with a time of guided relaxation and deep breathing to help calm the mind and activate our rest and digest response. As we settle into stillness, and move into our heart space, there is an invitation to draw near to God and enter into His peace and rest as we reflect and meditate on a specially selected bible verse.

We then move into gentle stretches with an emphasis on taking the time to slowly and gently release through the hips. Many of us store tension and tightness in our hips which can impact the rest of our body. Releasing through the hips can also help to release tension and tightness in other part of the body, including the lower back and the legs. A peaceful relaxation will complete our happy hips practice.
This class is suitable for all levels of yoga experience.
