Dawn MotherHeart
Dawn studied at the first organized school of yoga in the world, The Yoga Institute and has been teaching for almost 27 years. She believes that unlearning conditioning is important along side of learning and reclaiming a deep sense of self trust.
Description
Physically, this practice is low-key, with some slow and fluid posture practices, light stretching and strengthening, stillness, and deep rest. The deeper work of the class is the layered approach to caring for the mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual sheaths of our being. Students will be encouraged to disentangle from the harmful messages of the over-culture in order to reclaim self trust and love. Many options and invitations to explore will be given for students to discover what feels caring for the body and what doesn't.
