Nature & Clay: Mindful making led by Emily Seville

Sunday, September 24 • 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Nurture Saddleworth .

Description

Spend the afternoon exploring meaningful connection to nature through
sensory explorations, meditations and creating with clay, in this Decorative Plates workshop with Emily Seville Studio.

In this workshop we will mindfully connect to the local natural landscape through a walk in nature, guided meditation, and gathering natural materials.

Emily will then guide you through harnessing natural materials in the creative process, teaching you hand-building and decoration techniques to create your own unique Decorative Plates - perfect to use as trinket dishes, candle holders, or simply as interior decoration.

After the workshop, your pieces will be fired and glazed in a colour of your choice and returned to you at your convenience.

This workshop is beginner friendly and you need no prior experience of working with clay to attend. Emily will guide and support you throughout the workshop to ensure you have a finished piece you are happy with.

t&c: Cancellation can be made up to 24 hours before the workshop (this is due to the preparation of materials for each participant)
