Mindfulness Meditation and mindfulness in everyday life.

Sessions on Sunday mornings are an ongoing opportunity for participants to practice mindfulness meditation and to learn how to develop a mindful approach to everyday activities on a regular basis.

These sessions are suitable for all levels of experience and people completely new to mindfulness are very welcome. Sessions will run most weeks with some gaps when other regular monthly sessions are using the space

Expect an opportunity for a relaxed, informal and supportive hour with some meditation, chat, poems and stories.

Mindfully connect to nature and create a unique Mug out of clay.

Spend the afternoon exploring meaningful connection to nature and creating with clay in this Mug workshop with Emily Seville Studio, and create your own unique piece for mindful moments.
In this workshop we will mindfully connect to the local natural landscape through; a walk in nature, guided meditation, and gathering natural materials.
Emily will then guide you through creating your own, unique mug out of clay, teaching you hand-building technique slab-building to do so. She will demonstrate a range of additional techniques including shaping and making handles to help you create your own unique piece.
After the workshop, your pieces will be fired and glazed in a colour of your choice and returned to you at your convenience.
This workshop is beginner friendly and you need no prior experience of working with clay to attend, Emily will guide and support you throughout the workshop to ensure you have a finished piece you are happy with.

Artist Bio: Emily Seville is Manchester based visual artist and meditation practitioner specialising in hand-built sculptural ceramics and watercolour painting. As both a practitioner and facilitator, her focus is on the connection between nature and well-being. Through her practice and workshops, she employs a meditative, slow-making process and encourages an intuitive approach to making.

Baby yoga is a centuries old tradition that provides both mother and baby with significant and undisputed benefits.
Baby Yoga is an interactive routine performed with baby and care giver. Parents helps the baby into carefully developed movements that work well for baby’s tender body, the movements include gentile stretching of the limbs and practice correct breathing by encouraging babies to imitate parents breathing pattern and gentle stretching to help improve parents muscle tone, pelvic floor and fitness.

If you are looking for an excellent way to improve yours and baby’s health, development, Speech, muscle tone, coordination, flexibility, immune system and teach breathing to be calm, strengthen bonding, then yoga will be for you and your baby.

Classes run for 4 weeks, sessions have been developed as a comprehensive fun clear consistent and easy to follow gentle moves for mum and baby, classes have a relaxation part at the end of the yoga session, followed by story and song.

Lots of gentle music, songs and bubbles in each session. Cake and drinks, time to chat and make friends, all equipment provided all you need to bring is yourself and baby. This class is taught by Claire Harvey, baby yoga, baby massage and pregnancy yoga expert.

Baby Massage is the perfect way to develop a bond with your baby. It stimulates babies’ digestion, coordination, learning and language development. Massage improves relaxation and encourages a sleep routine. Also includes handy tips on how to relieve teething, colic and constipation through massage.

The sessions are also about you as a new parent, we cover a different topic each week, with lots of advice and handouts, answer any questions WEEK 1, – Legs _Get to know you, impact of being a new parent
WEEK 2, – Tummy-feeding support
WEEK 3 – Chest, Arms & Hands-sleep routine and support
WEEK 4 – Full Massage, Head & face-Play and development, Certificate and keepsake presentation Additional tips on teething, colic & constipation, included throughout.

All sessions end with stories and rhymes.
Drink and Cakes included with each session for a chance for everybody to get to know each other and make friends.
Oils to take home and keep, fresh oil in class each week, full illustrated hand-outs of strokes provided. Booklet and certificate on last week Hand and footprint craft activity keepsake.

All you need to bring is yourself, baby and a towel.
All Classes last approx one hour This class is taught by Claire Harvey, baby yoga, baby massage and pregnancy yoga expert.

In these classes, we will flow fluidly from one pose to the next repeating creative sequences as a movement meditation.
Suitable for everyone, these classes will leave you feeling relaxed yet energised.

This class will be taught in the Embodied Vinyasa tradition by Sophie Fitton, co-founder of Nurture.

This class is a slow, flowing movement meditation combined with deeper, longer holds with use of props.

Expect to unwind, feel freedom of movement and complete relaxation. This class is taught by the beauty of candle light.

Poetry, stories, yoga, music and deep relaxation are all guided into this session. An hour of candlelight magic.

This 4 week course is for complete newcomers to yoga or those who would like to go back to basics. It will help you build a strong foundation and will inspire you to explore yoga in all its forms. Suitable for everyone.

Be transported into a deep restorative meditation and welcome in the healing powers of sound. Rebecca will guide you through this therapeutic session to restore balance in the body and mind. Suitable for all.

As well as classic yoga poses, you'll focus on positions for labour, breathing and relaxation techniques.
This class will nurture you physically and emotionally from 12 - 42 weeks +, regardless of your fitness level.
No experience of yoga is necessary.
The class is a time to relax, focus on your new baby and prepare for birth, it’s also a great opportunity to meet other expectant mums.
