World Sound Healing Day: Heart-Centered Sound Journey

DeAnna (E-RYT 500, YACEP) is a co-owner and instructor at One Soul who initially began her yoga training to deepen her own personal practice and soon found a love of leading others through their yoga journey. Her belief is that everyone can benefit from yoga both mentally and physically. DeAnna likes teaching a slower paced class that emphasizes mind/body awareness, breathing and deep stretching. She loves to learn and is constantly broadening her yogic knowledge to share with others. She has a special interest in the chakra system, sound healing and meditation. She holds practitioner certification in Sound Healing as well as 200-hour Kundalini, Meditation, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga.

Join DeAnna on Tuesday, February 13 from 8:00-9:00 pm for One Soul Yoga’s Heart-Centered Sound Bath to celebrate the 22nd Annual World Sound Healing Day. This sound bath journey will create heart-opening sound vibrations to unlock the heart to loving-kindness and compassion.
Participants are invited to sit or lay in a comfortable position as waves of soothing sounds and frequencies created by the crystal singing bowls, chimes, gong and other instruments wash over the body. Sound healing helps encourage restoration of the mind, body and soul, promotes relaxation and releases stored tension in the body.
Benefits of sound bath include:
• Helps restore balance in mind, body and soul
• Promotes energy balance
• Reduces stress and tension
• Promotes relaxation
• Aids meditation
Please dress comfortably and bring a mat, blanket, pillow or anything else you would like to use for maximum comfort on the floor.
The sound bath is facilitated by DeAnna McDearmont, a registered E-RYT 500, YACEP yoga instructor and certified sound healing practitioner at One Soul Yoga & Wellness Center.
Cost is $15/person or included with pass/punch card. No hammocks or zero gravity chairs will be available for this sound bath. Advanced registration is highly recommended as our space is limited.
