DeAnna (E-RYT 500, YACEP) is a co-owner and instructor at One Soul who initially began her yoga training to deepen her own personal practice and soon found a love of leading others through their yoga journey. Her belief is that everyone can benefit from yoga both mentally and physically. DeAnna likes teaching a slower paced class that emphasizes mind/body awareness, breathing and deep stretching. She loves to learn and is constantly broadening her yogic knowledge to share with others. She has a special interest in the chakra system, sound healing and meditation. She holds practitioner certification in Sound Healing as well as 200-hour Kundalini, Meditation, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Trauma Informed Yoga.
Description
The July Soul Session with DeAnna will combine two powerful stress-relieving techniques into one class. Gentle Breathwork & Yoga Nidra will allow your body and mind integration and relaxation and healing. This special one-hour class will start out with a series of gentle breathwork to guide you into the present moment to feel centered while activating your body’s relaxation response. We will then sink into a guided Yoga Nidra session, a form of yogic sleep meditation to further promote stress reduction and rest. No experience necessary—all levels welcome to join.

Soul Sessions with DeAnna are a monthly addition to the One Soul schedule. Each month, DeAnna will offer one guided group experience to energize and nourish the soul. Soul Sessions will vary each month to include anything from soulful play, energetic movement, cacao ceremony, sound healing or meditation to help you connect with your inner being and live from the heart and soul.

This class is open to everyone and is $15 or included with pass/punch card. Soul Sessions are facilitated by DeAnna McDearmont, a registered E-RYT 500, YACEP yoga instructor and sound healing practitioner at One Soul Yoga & Wellness Center.
