Libby Sharpe
Libby is a 500-hour CYT and holds certification in Thai Yoga. Libby has been fascinated with yoga for as long as she can remember, enjoying 'Lilias, Yoga and You' when she was a teenager. Her practice always contained a desire to teach and share yoga and the wonderful benefits and enjoyment it brings. Life takes us along many detours, but a re-commitment to yoga led her to recently begin her yoga teacher training. While still discovering and exploring forms of yoga, she currently brings her own quirky, eclectic spin to Hatha Yoga. She also is a longtime practitioner of breathwork and enjoys leading groups in ecstatic dance. Libby is certified in Thai Yoga and offers private sessions at One Soul.
Description
Yin on the Wall offers deep stretch and relaxation for all levels. Using the wall as support allows for deeper stretches and greater relaxation in each pose, helping to release tension and improve flexibility. The wall provides a reference point to help maintain proper alignment, making the practice more effective and safer. Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, the wall offers added stability, making poses more accessible. Yin on the Wall helps to calm the mind and connect deeply with your body-- let’s stretch, align, and unwind together.
At One Soul, we believe yoga is for everybody and you do not have to be “bendy” or “stretchy” to practice. Our studio and instructors are from a trauma-informed lineage, which means we lead classes that nurture and challenge you in a safe and non-judgmental way. Variations of poses are given in each class to make our classes accessible regardless if you are new to yoga or more experienced. Our yoga studio is intentionally free of mirrors, encouraging you to focus on how your practice feels rather than how it appears. Your mat is your personal sanctuary, a space to connect with yourself and your journey.
