About Prana Rose Yoga
My love for yoga is fearless.
⋯
With the intention to fuel a collective evolution, my teaching style aims to raise awareness for the perceived limitations that hold us back (thoughts, patterns, beliefs...), while guiding students towards a state of equilibrium and a deeper connection with their highest potential. My goal is to create an empowered environment to inspire and support each student's internal practice.
I officially discovered yoga in its true form at age 15. The practice resonated on such a deep level, inspiring a journey of self-practice and an urge to share its ancient wisdom with the world. Now with over 1,500 hours of training and countless hours of personal practice, I can say, in humility: I will always be a student. The unlimited potential it teaches us is powerful, and is something we can all tap into.
My classes are rooted in traditional yoga and meditation practices, using scientific methods intended to empower a state of balance, control and freedom—especially within the mind. Sequenced in a mandala fashion (we face all four directions, including belly-up + belly-down vinyasas...), each class is designed to target all major joint rotations, touching upon corresponding marma points (energy points) to activate the entire body, bringing each student to a more grounded, centered state.
As a rock climber, contortionist, dancer, and overall athlete by heart, my experience in constantly pushing my limits has taught me the wisdom that lies behind the art and science of balance. What I have discovered along the way is that the key to balance lies within the subtleties - the art of playing with our boundaries while honoring our limits. This dance between control and surrender demonstrates the importance of awareness, shedding light on the unrecognized, untapped potential that lies within each of us.
Last but not least! Thank you for your curiosity. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to offer what I have learned — and even better, thank you for being my teacher as well.
Namasté,
Karli
