DEEP STRETCH

Deep Stretch is the "yin to the yang" — however, it is not the official "Yin" style of yoga.
It's a practice that lends balance to an active lifestyle, with poses held slightly longer, taking on an active-passive approach.

Classes are intentionally sequenced to target all major joint rotations, stimulating marma points (vital energy points), while activating the entire system to create greater harmony through the sustained flow of energy.

This is an beginner to intermediate level practice and is sequenced using the principles of Universal Yoga (UY)*. All are welcome, regardless of your level or experience! Several options will be offered along the way to accommodate the various levels of practitioners, including modifications and intensifications (always optional). Specific UY experience is not required.

...

* Founded by Guruji Andrey Lappa, UY is a multi-faceted system of methods that represent the essential rules and laws of traditional yoga which can be used for any and all individuals, for any broad or specific goal.
