He regularly consults domestically and internationally to individuals and their families, families of influence, business and civic leaders on understanding and achieving their personal and professional best as well as resolving their complex health and wellness challenges. Ashwin specializes in women’s and family health, Pranacharya (energy healing), Nadi Pariksha or pulse diagnosis, and marma therapy (accupressure or energy points). Nadi Pariksha is an ancient Ayurvedic technique of diagnosis through the pulse. It can accurately diagnose bodily imbalances as well as the diseases and disorders. It is a non- invasive science that enables to reach the root cause of health issues and not just address the symptoms.

Description

Hello dear members,

We will hike the serene Fox Peak Trail, return via the same route, meditate at the peak, and return for brunch and coffee. All are welcome.

2 Groups:
We will have 2 groups... a normal speed group and faster hike/run group.

Total elevation gain 3k and about 11 miles rountrip. Slower group may do less than the total hike.

Ensure you bring hiking shoes; no other type of shoes... bring minimum of 3 liters water, snack, and electrolytes. Please read below details in its entirety.

Every Sunday we will hike with "Awareness"... i.e. where we enjoy being in Mother Nature. We will pause halfway thru hike to Meditate and after hike enjoy a healthy brunch & coffee at a local cafe.

Starting time and being late:
We will start at notedtime... if your running late please text or call us at least 1 hour before start time and we will wait for 5 to 10 minutes max to respect everyone's time. Note if you call after such time we may already be on the mountain and not have reception.

We will hike a variety of trails in the local parks around Glendale. Generally we will keep within a 30 minutes drive from Glendale.

The hikes may include any of the following: Angeles National Forest, Griffith Park, Verdugo Mountain (Library Brand Park), Malibu Creek State Park. Topanga State Park, etc In summer we will tend to select shaded trails and in winter it may vary with more sun. Also, we will try to keep hikes within an easy to moderate route and around 3 hours hiking time. At times we may do longer hikes, read details.

Beginners welcome unless noted in specific hike details.
