I’m DaLisa, an RYT-200 Yoga Instructor, Certified Ayurvedic Wellness Coach, fur mama and people person. A few of my favorite things are sun dresses, being barefoot in the grass, an organized kitchen and the Appalachian Mountains. I am also the Store Manager at The Boho Depot helping our community find goodies that help them connect to themselves and others through crystal healing, self help books, wellness products and fun, funky gifts & styles. My wellness journey started in my 20’s, but really I had struggled all my life with my health. My journey actually began when I became aware that even though all my issues were “normal” they didn’t have to be my reality. I wanted more for myself, my future, and my family. I wanted to feel like the best version of myself everyday, and to bring that feeling of wholeness out in other women. To be a source of education, empowerment and support - the stuff we didn’t learn or have access to growing up. I am a veteran 200-RYT of Ganesha's Yoga & Wellness Academy in 2017 and a 600 hr certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, specializing in women’s health from the Shakti School of Ayurveda. I founded Blooming Luna Wellness in 2021 in my mission to educate, empower & support women on their life-long wellness journey. I work in-person and virtually one-on-one and host workshops and trainings with people of all ages and life-stages to help them feel their best, bring awareness to their unique needs, and take control of their health. Additionally, I offer private yoga as well as small group sessions catered to specific needs such as prenatal, anxiety & stress management and yoga for athletes. By reconnecting to our natural rhythms through yoga, breathwork, daily practices, movement & self care we can tap into the body’s inner wisdom and restore balance in our digestion, sleep, and mental health.

Hi, I’m Heidi Leigh and I’ve been teaching yoga for over 10 years, since moving to Winston Salem. I have three “kids” – Oliver Runyon Twist (5 yo), Pinky Alessandro Fiorucci (4 yo) and King George Phillip I (1 yo). I have been lucky enough to have an amazing lifetime before becoming a yoga teacher. Traversing the country from FL to CA to NC, I worked in the film industry as the personal assistant for Sandra Bullock while filming A Time to Kill, in Disney HQ and for the NHL Florida Panthers. Spending so many years in office jobs gave me such an appreciation for how yoga impacts the way my body feels and the importance of building movement into the day. My path to the mat started in 1995 when I was living in Los Angeles. My first class was with Bryan Kest and my relationship to the practice of yoga was an immediate love affair. 2005 was the year I went for my teacher training at the “Miami Beach Yoga Shala” and I had to navigate the storms on and off the mat as Katrina hit Florida. But life is full of changing weather and yoga has helped me build personal resilience. My classes are challenging and joyful, and never the same. I plan my classes around you and your fellow party people. My goal for each class is for you to discover new opportunities for your practice – working muscles, building strong postures, creating good energy and overall finding happiness for all. I will never ask you to go past the point of fun, but always find your own rainbow connection. Song requests are welcome and everyone has music veto rights (except when Prince is on). It gave her the ability to stay present and show up for all aspects of life. In 2019, Emily completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Sutra Studio in Lowell, Massachusetts. Teaching yoga allows her to create a welcoming space where people can connect with their bodies and minds through creative movement. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help others discover moments of joy through their practice. Emily’s classes are fun, flowing, and powerful, leaving students feeling grounded, present, and energized. Emily is passionate about continuing to learn and explore how breathwork, meditation, and mindfulness can bring balance and awareness into everyday life. I’m Allie Labate—a devoted wife, dog mom, and passionate advocate for holistic wellness. I believe true well-being arises from nurturing the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. (And I also think having fun and not taking yourself too seriously is essential to well-being!) I discovered yoga a bit later in life. Growing up in a small town in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, I wasn’t introduced to yoga and its sciences until long after college. My journey into fitness actually began with bodybuilding, but after a shoulder injury, I decided to start a yoga practice—and that’s when my life changed. Yoga helped me embrace my body for what it’s capable of, rather than how it looks (oh, and it made me incredibly strong and mobile—my body had never felt that good!). Yoga revealed my true potential, and it’s now my mission to inspire you to see yours, empowering you on the mat so you can carry that strength and confidence into every aspect of your life. Drawing inspiration from the Ashtanga lineage, my classes are characterized by athleticism, playfulness, and energizing music. I want to challenge you to step outside your comfort zone. I’m okay with being the yoga teacher you love to hate because growth happens both in life and on the mat when we push through challenges. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve been fortunate to learn from remarkable mentors such as Carson Clay Calhoun (Rocket Yoga), Jennifer Eddins (Power Yoga and Ashtanga), and Deepak Chopra (Ayurveda). Their wisdom has profoundly influenced my teaching style and philosophy. I am committed to being a lifelong student of this practice, continually seeking new ways to expand my consciousness and enhance my skills, ensuring that everyone I work with gets the most out of their practice. Hi, I’m Heidi Leigh and I’ve been teaching yoga for over 10 years, since moving to Winston Salem. I have three “kids” – Oliver Runyon Twist (5 yo), Pinky Alessandro Fiorucci (4 yo) and King George Phillip I (1 yo). I have been lucky enough to have an amazing lifetime before becoming a yoga teacher. Traversing the country from FL to CA to NC, I worked in the film industry as the personal assistant for Sandra Bullock while filming A Time to Kill, in Disney HQ and for the NHL Florida Panthers. Spending so many years in office jobs gave me such an appreciation for how yoga impacts the way my body feels and the importance of building movement into the day. My path to the mat started in 1995 when I was living in Los Angeles. My first class was with Bryan Kest and my relationship to the practice of yoga was an immediate love affair. 2005 was the year I went for my teacher training at the “Miami Beach Yoga Shala” and I had to navigate the storms on and off the mat as Katrina hit Florida. But life is full of changing weather and yoga has helped me build personal resilience. My classes are challenging and joyful, and never the same. I plan my classes around you and your fellow party people. My goal for each class is for you to discover new opportunities for your practice – working muscles, building strong postures, creating good energy and overall finding happiness for all. I will never ask you to go past the point of fun, but always find your own rainbow connection. Song requests are welcome and everyone has music veto rights (except when Prince is on).
