Melanie Parks
Melanie has been teaching yoga since 2015 after completing her 200-hour YTT through Evolve Yoga & Wellness / Nosara Yoga Institute. She completed Matt Pilates training through Balanced Body and is certified in Reiki level II. Her classes are fluent and feel good. They consistently move using dynamic movements and incorporating some Pilates and qigong. They are accessible for anyone as she offers modifications and detailed ques for structural alignment. In her free time, she is pursuing a degree in psychology, enjoys dancing, hiking, painting, spending time with others and her pup.
Description
Yoga Strength & Stretch:
This class is broken into three distinct sections dedicating equal time to yoga, strength,
and stretching.

1) The beginning will be a traditional yoga practice allowing you to ground, quiet the
mind, and link to your breath. Warming up the body with gentle stretches and
moving into a traditional vinyasa sequence.

2) The middle section offers both standing and floor postures designed to tone and
strengthen the whole body while getting your heart rate up.

3) The last section is dedicated to long deep stretches finishing up with a mini
shavasana.
This class has something to offer everyone! It allows you to sample three different
things without having to commit to a whole hour. Perfect if you want to mix up your
routine or try something new. This class is meant to challenge you in new ways without
it being too much. You will quiet your mind, get your heart rate up, build strength, while
leaving stretched out and relaxed ready to conquer the next part of your evening.

This is considered a regular class and you use your Montly Membership, class pack, or drop in to sign up.

There is room for 10 participants.
