About Yoga with Cathy
I discovered yoga whilst living in Thailand and made my way to Rishikesh, India where I completed my first training to become a teacher in 2017. I taught a Vinyasa-based flow at Prana Yoga in Oxford for three years, and after that, I returned to India in 2020 to do an advanced training in anatomy and yoga adjustments. This allowed me to bring a more focused and personalised touch to my teaching, guiding my students to live a more mobile life, in a happier body.
I base my classes on modernised yoga philosophy and focus on the mind-body connection through movement and breath. I love to see my students discover themselves on the mat, becoming completely present in their practice; and I invite all-levels to find what feels right for them.
My classes guide you through a journey of pranayama (breath work), asana (posture) and mindfulness - my singing bowl often accompanies the shavasana, allowing you to completely relax before returning to your day. My positivity and enthusiasm for life is contagious, so you will leave feeling refreshed and inspired!
Don't worry if you know nothing about yoga! We'll learn together.
