I went to my first yoga class at age 16 and there I found my love of Yoga, loving the sense of calm that it gave me.
I have continued to practice Yoga throughout my life on and off from then on.
I completed my RYT-200 hr teaching through Santosha Yoga Institute in 2022, where I learnt Hatha and Vinyasa style yoga and the principles and philosophies drawn from the Sri T Krishnamacharya lineage.
I am currently working on my 50hr Yin Yoga training through Santosha Yoga Institute.
Description
This class builds strength and steadiness through a progressive sequence of poses. The emphasis is on finding correct alignment, whilst using the breath to cultivate courage and mindfulness. By balancing the flow of energy in the body, and increasing awareness , we experience both stability and freedom and greater sense of fufilament on and off the mat.
