I went to my first yoga class at age 16 and there I found my love of Yoga, loving the sense of calm that it gave me.
I have continued to practice Yoga throughout my life on and off from then on.
I completed my RYT-200 hr teaching through Santosha Yoga Institute in 2022, where I learnt Hatha and Vinyasa style yoga and the principles and philosophies drawn from the Sri T Krishnamacharya lineage.
I am currently working on my 50hr Yin Yoga training through Santosha Yoga Institute.
Description
A Yin yoga class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. This is a beautiful way to connect to mind, body and spirit. Accessible all levels
