Tensegrity Core: A fusion of pilates techniques and yoga core principles. Adapted from Gioia Irwin's Tensegrity Repair Series. "Tensegrity" refers to tension integrity. The original practice is designed to stabilize the joints as well as rehydrate and repair the fascia. Fascia is the innervated connective tissue that connects everything in the body. The body is a tensile structure. Relax into the movement and take a 'less is more' approach to this practice.
