60mins June Yoga Challenge - created by students for students. Your postures, your challenge! Free

Adrianne @ Indyoga

8 June 2024 • Duration: 1 Hour, 3 Minutes

Each and every year we have a personal June challenge to work on something every day, whether that be a particular posture, a meditation or a breathing technique. Something we wish to improve upon, it could be a beginner, less complex posture to aid functional mobility, strength or gain flexibility, it could be demanding and challenging arm or standing balance. It could be stillness or savasana!

The postures in this sequence have been chosen by our students to work on through the month of June.

Key breathing techniques and postures that we endeavour to work on in this practice are:
- Ujjayi Breath
- Thread the needle
- Camel
- Crow
- Tree
- Warrior 3
- Dolphin
- Forearm stand (which is usually always mine each June)
- Forward folds
- Pigeon
- Reclined (or as I call it Heroic) Deer
- IT Band and Hip openers

Thanks to you all who contributed to create your sequence.

You don't need props for this practice, but a block, blanket or a bolster/cushion could be handy to fill space between you and the mat and make some of the posture more accessible.
