Towards the end you can expect
grounding sequence in order to slow down the breath and reflect on your experience on the mat.
This session is truly for everyone, regardless the genders, ages and abilities.
Slow and graceful pace of the class will help you to learn how to listen to your body and gain the strength, not just physically, but mentally at the first place.
Often using of the yoga props along with many adjustments tor
the poses are welcoming everyone to explore the silence inside, even if it seems to be very challenging sometimes. Same like a life itself.
This Yoga practice is about quieting of the fluctuations of the mind and creating a relationship with our mind, rather than being constantly in a separation and uncontrollable fight inside. Through the conscious and mindful movements along with a breath, you will be guided to stay present and take most of the experience off the mat into your daily life.

Yin Nidra & Sound | Gongs / Singing Bowls / Synths & Trance: A Collaboration
Description
Collaborating on this series with Basia is musician, Dave Franklyn on synths,, and Sound Healer, Alex Stevens on crystal bowls and gongs.
Dave and Alex brings their collection of instruments along with singing bowls, crystal bowls and gong to perform a traditional sound bath over a bed of sine wave frequencies designed to directly correlate with the meditative guidance from the voice of Basia and the sounds of the synth.
Yin yoga is a floor-based yoga practice in which poses are held passively for a length of time, often a few minutes. Holding poses for a longer period of time works into the connective tissues (ligaments, joints, bones and fascia) rather than the muscles, it can also help prepare the body to sit for periods of time in meditation. Energetically, it taps into our ‘chi’ and helps improve the flow of energy round the body. The practice of yin yoga gives you space to turn inwards and tune the mind and body to physical sensations, often playing with your ‘edge’ and dropping deeper into your practice.
Yoga Nidra is also known as yogic sleep but is in fact a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping in which the body and mind are fully relaxed and which is conducive to emotional and physical healing. It works by following a guided relaxation and is an effective tool for deep rest and connection. Yoga Nidra can help to improve sleep, reduce stress and anxiety, help us to centre ourselves and find the truths hidden within our hearts.
This session is an explorative collaboration and will evolve over time. Consider booking a series of Tuesdays as we explore the space of sound within yoga.
Alternating Tuesdays with Sabina Bhandari, Classical Tantra with Gong Bath.

Integral Wake Up
Description
According to Sri Aurobindo, all life is Yoga, while Yoga as a sadhana (disciplined and dedicated practice or learning) is a methodised effort towards self-perfection, which brings to expression the latent, hidden potentialities of being. Success in this effort unifies the human individual with the universal and transcendental Existence. Integral yoga reunites "the infinite in the finite, the timeless in the temporal and the transcendent with the immanent.

Primal Movement Flow Cancelled
Description
During this session we ask ourselves "what would I be like if I had never sat in a chair or been able to get my food from walking around a busy supermarket. What would my body feel like if I had to run, climb and move just to survive".
This session is a discovery session, with yoga as the key vehicle. Balance, strength in posture and finding new movement patterns.
Special Notes: Set around vinyasa, expect some workshop moments and non-yogic movements.
You may sweat.

YOGA / COMMUNITY / MOVEMENT / DISCOVERY
Yoga in the Stars is a project by The Metahealth Movement, a not-for-profit working towards elevated health.
We are thrilled to announce that £9,943 has been donated to Yoga in the Stars by The National Lottery Community Fund for a special new project The Yoga-Social!
The project is to create a space for people to come together around health and well-being. A free space to practice yoga, breathwork, movement, dance, tai chi and talk about health, food and lifestyle. Use the studio equipment and space in an open, inclusive and fun way. Expect spontaneous workshops and sessions, as well as a dedicated self-practice space, and we hope to invite other local yoga teachers to host sessions and workshops throughout the year to help grow and enrich the community.
Reach out to us with ideas.
Yoga really is for everyone, it’s a personal thing, and is a lifestyle choice that goes way beyond the mat and into every aspect of life, and we hope that this grant helps you to explore what this can mean for you as we discover together.
#NationalLottery and the National Lottery players, thank you!

HATHA BLISS: SOLAR SYMPHONY with Kiran and Spoorthi
Description
A symphony of asana, pranayama, nada (sounds from voice and bansuri), and more.
Activates the ‘fire’ element within oneself and aligns one's energies with the sun, fostering a sense of vitality and inner radiance.
Practised with specific attention to alignment and subtle energy awareness, for greater inner transformation.
Harmonizes the body, mind, and energies to ensure the health and vitality of the practitioner. Enhances mental clarity, emotional stability, and spiritual growth.
SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES
Designed to stimulate the solar plexus more directly, enhancing its activation and balancing the body's energies more profoundly.
The solar plexus, or Manipura chakra, is considered a vital energy centre associated with personal power, self-esteem, and digestion.
Activating the solar plexus is believed to balance the digestive fire (agni) in the body, which is essential for physical health and vitality according to Ayurvedic principles.
From a yogic perspective, the solar plexus is seen as the seat of transformative energy (prana) and is linked to the element of fire, symbolising inner strength and willpower.
By activating the solar plexus through practices like Surya Kriya, individuals may experience improved digestion, increased confidence, and a greater sense of personal empowerment.
Practising sushanti meditation after hatha yoga will bring the body to its optimum condition of balance, alertness, and relaxation.

Divine Dance - with Anne Shalo

Divine Dance - with Anne Shalo
Description
Dance can serve as a way in. Allowing us to access parts of ourself that are scared to be seen. Through dance, we invite them in, we hold them, we bring them into our hearts. To be seen, to be heard, to be released. From our mind body to our emotional and spiritual body. A different kind of knowing is unlocked. Things start to bubble to the surface.
To be fully experienced.
To be fully expanded.
To be fully expressed.
Divine Dance is a held space where you can explore this to the fullest.
It’s not a performance.
It’s not about how it looks.
It’s about how it feels.
It’s about honoring your body.
It’s about dancing with you inner child.
It’s about feeling safe.
It’s about letting go.
It’s about being yourself.
It’s about having fun.
It’s about the smiles and the tears.
It’s about feeling your presence on this Earth.
It’s about celebrating yourself.
It’s about understanding you are so worthy.
It’s about dancing with the Divine.
It’s about realizing YOU ARE DIVINE.
You are DIVINE.
So come dance with me at…
✨Divine Dance✨
✨Divine Dance is for anyone looking to move their body and explore ways to move through emotions and see what their bodies are capable of. No dance experience needed! It’s truly about free expression, you can do whatever your big heart desires. If you have a body, this is for you! This is a time to freely express yourself and heal through movement.
✨Divine Dance is a safe and sacred space. You will be guided through a journey within, tapping into the voice of your soul. Through dance we strengthen our connection with the Divine.
✨Music curated to give you a seamless experience (you get the playlist after). At the end of the session, we will close with a sound bath that gives you time to land and process on a subconscious/conscious level what you’ve moved through.
💃🏽 Anne has danced since she was 3 years old and expressing through movement makes her heart sing. Dancer and yoga practitioner, movement is her medicine. She will always be a dancer at heart and is so excited to share the healing power of dance with you.
